VOY / PORTS OF ENTRY
Choose the right entry port.
Start your trip smoothly.
Private yachts must complete entry and exit inspections at designated ports. VOY helps coordinate a suitable clearance terminal around your yacht, route and reception arrangements, before connecting the voyage with berthing and time ashore.

SIX DESIGNATED PORTS
Six designated ports of entry
Choose a port around your route and the facilities available for your yacht. The itinerary ideas below are starting points; inspection times and the exact berth depend on your confirmed booking.
Official English port names · Hong Kong Government ↗ · The specific Guishan terminal location follows the Guangdong MSA guidance linked below.

GUANGZHOU / NANSHA
Nansha Ferry Terminal
Passenger terminal, Nansha port area, Port of Nansha
For Nansha and Guangzhou’s Pearl River waterfront
Connect with Nansha Marina, Taigucang or Changzhou Island. Before heading upriver, check channels, tides, bridge clearances and destination berths.

SHENZHEN / SHEKOU
Shekou Cruise Homeport
Passenger terminal, Port of Shekou
For Shekou, Shenzhen Bay and onward coastal cruising
Confirm the inspection berth and reception window for your yacht, then arrange a separate berth at Shenzhen Bay or a marina on the eastern coast.

SHENZHEN / BAO’AN
Shenzhen Airport Ferry Terminal (Fuyong)
Fuyong Passenger Terminal, Shenzhen Airport Port
For the airport and Bao’an area
Explore berthing near the airport to suit your route. Confirm the clearance terminal and the overnight berth at the airport-area marina separately.

ZHUHAI / CITY WATERFRONT
Jiuzhou Port Passenger Terminal
Jiuzhou passenger terminal, Jiuzhou port area, Port of Zhuhai
For central Zhuhai and onward island trips
Connect with the yacht club in the Jiuzhou Port area (九洲國際遊艇會). Arrange clearance and overnight berthing separately, and check navigable bridge spans against your yacht’s air draught.

ZHUHAI / GUISHAN ISLAND
Wanshan Port — Guishan Passenger Terminal
Guishan passenger terminal, Wanshan port area, Port of Zhuhai
For Guishan Island and confirmed Wanshan Islands itineraries
Complete inspection at the designated terminal and confirm the exact overnight berth and embarkation point. Reception, landing and activity arrangements at other islands must be checked individually.

ZHONGSHAN / SHENWAN
Sunsea Yacht Club Marina
Sunsea Yacht Club Marina, Shenwan port area, Port of Zhongshan
For Shenwan and the western Pearl River waterfront
Confirm inspection, berthing and lock arrangements first. If the voyage passes through Macao waters or continues inland, check the additional reporting, bridge and tidal requirements.
BEFORE ARRIVAL
Plan clearance and berthing separately.
-
Complete the initial paperwork
Arrange the temporary nationality certificate, management agreement, skipper assessment and initial registration of the yacht and persons on board.
-
Book reception, then report the voyage
Entry bookings may be made up to 30 days in advance. Notify the port inspection authorities of the expected arrival or departure time and persons on board four hours before entry or exit, as required.
-
Go directly to clearance
Do not stop at another terminal before entry inspection. After departure clearance, proceed directly out of mainland waters. A change of persons on board, or failure to leave within four hours of departure clearance, requires the relevant formalities to be completed again.
-
Confirm every destination berth
A passenger terminal with clearance facilities does not automatically offer overnight berthing. Equally, a marina berth does not mean entry and exit inspections are available there.
